Care Consultation Service

Whether you’re an individual seeking guidance on caring for a loved one, or a family trying to get on the same page, caring for an aging parent with a new or challenging diagnosis — or planning ahead for your own future needs — each step matters, and you deserve support as you move forward.

Topics We Can Address Together:

I can coach you individually on topics like how to advocate for your loved one during doctor’s visits, how to create a supportive living environment, how to navigate the ethical, legal, and insurance challenges of care, and how to enlist the help of family, friends, or other helping professionals. Or, if your family needs a space to align on a plan together, I can facilitate that conversation directly.

FAQs

This is a consultative service, not therapy. It’s not covered by insurance. The goal is direction toward a plan — not ongoing emotional support.

Most families get a clear plan within 1 to 3 meetings, whether you’re coming individually or as a family.

Sessions are 1 hour, billed at $200. Additional time is billed as needed. Follow-up is included — 1 to 2 phone calls under 15 minutes, or a short email response.

Yes, if time and distance allow.

No. If I’m already a therapist for someone in your family, I can’t also serve as your consultant. That’s a conflict of interest. I’m happy to provide a referral.
